Edge & Kelly Burton are the family behind the business, having holidayed in Robe for many years as avid 4WDers they decided to make it home in 2017, starting their own business in 2018. The beautiful environment and community of Robe has helped them welcome two children to the crew.

Edge gained his qualification as a car mechanic at Mananui Service Station in New Zealand. Learning all he could to cement his knowledge and understanding of motor mechanics be it new or old.

Moving to Australia in 2010 Edge soon found himself working as a mobile mechanic on heavy diesel machinery, learning all he could from his then boss Brad and the team at BSA Earthmoving Repairs. Edge has taken his skills and put them to good use setting up a fully mobile service known as Mechanical Edge.

Kelly brings to the team extensive experience in retail administration having worked as an executive assistant with Haines Hunter for majority of her working career before making the move to Robe.

Our fully qualified log book servicing ensures your car is in safe hands, and we provide quality car service and repairs on all models, including four wheel drive and diesel vehicles.

Mechanical Edge can service and repair your air conditioning system and with a local Certified Air Con technician can also arrange for Regas.
